Twenty-two years in uniform before the first contract
Pasupuleti Krishna Murthy spent 22 years in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He worked in the crime and intelligence wing and on general duties, and ran physical and indoor training for CISF staff across several units.
That posting history covered the kind of sites where security failure is expensive: steel plants, oil refineries, thermal power stations, fertiliser plants, BHEL, national museums and a High Court legal cell, along with election and internal security duty across eight states.
